In 1955 St. Cyprian’s School was founded with the following mission in mind: St. Cyprian’s will be a community of learners where students are challenged to achieve their highest academic, spiritual and physical potential in a Christian community.
Now, 60 years later, we are proud to say that our mission still rings true, thanks in part to the generosity of area businesses, organizations and individuals.
Although St. Cyprian’s School has a strong history of providing an exceptional education, we know that we cannot rest on our reputation. We must continually strive to improve our curriculum and our facility. The mony raised during each year’s Annual Fund Campaign directly enhances each student’s education. Without the Annual Fund, St. Cyprian’s would have to cut programs or increase tuition significantly. In reality, every student receives a “silent scholarship” since current tuition fees cover only 81% of expenses.
St. Cyprian’s Annual Fund Campaign plays a significant role in the School’s financial stability. Gifts to the Annual Fund are applied directly to the School’s general operating fund. Gifts may be used to expand our technology department, renew our curriculum resources, embellish our specialty areas or grow our long-term capital improvement fund.
Participation is critical to the success of the campaign. A high level of participation among parents, grandparents, faculty, staff and board members has a tremendous effect on the School’s ability to procure outside funding.
