Amanda Gentry

Physical Education

Amanda Gentry is the physical education teacher. She is currently completing her kinesiology degree at Stephen F. Austin State University.

An avid sports fan, Coach Gentry has coached city league softball and t-ball for the past three years and enjoys attending Houston Astros baseball games.

Coach Gentry is a lifelong resident of Lufkin and is married and has one daughter.

Teaching Philosophy:

“It is my goal to encourage each child’s creative ability and to instill the importance of overall health socially, physically and emotionally.”
