Carol Carnley

3rd Grade Teacher

Carol Carnley will be teaching third grade. Mrs. Carnley has a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with Early Childhood Specialization from Stephen F. Austin State University. She has worked in the field of education for 18 years and taught previously at Slack Elementary, Diboll I.S.D. and Hudson I.S.D. She and her husband Butch have two adult children and five grandchildren.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, entertaining, sewing, gardening and attending church. Something that people would find surprising about Mrs. Carnley is that she enjoys watching Nascar and has even attending some of the races.

Teaching Philosophy:
It’s my belief that all children are valuable and capable of learning. It’s my philosophy that when children are surrounded by loving, caring teachers who strive to reach and teach to every child’s learning style, each child will be a life-long learner reaching his or her fullest potential.
