Laura Gorden

3K Teacher

Laura Gorden is a member of St. Cyprian’s 3K preschool teaching team and also serves as the afternoon administrative assistant. She attended college at West Texas State University and the University of Washington and holds degrees in theatre and English.

Mrs. Gorden and her family relocated to Lufkin from Seattle, Washington. While in Seattle, she worked as a preschool teacher and childcare coordinator at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral.

In her spare time, Mrs. Gorden enjoys spending time with her husband and her daughter. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, camping, biking and horseback riding.

Teaching Philosophy:
“I believe in providing a safe and loving environment in which young children are encouraged to explore and discover themselves and the world around them.”
