Melissa Jones

Physical Education Teacher

Coach Jones is beginning her third year as St. Cyprian’s Physical Education Teacher. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology with a minor in nutrition from Stephen F. Austin State University. Prior to joining St. Cyprian’s, she taught at another private school.

Coach Jones and her husband Josh live in Huntington and have one son. She enjoys researching family genealogy, scrap-booking, photography and antique shopping.

Teaching Philosophy
“I believe in encouraging all students to value an active lifestyle and proper nutrition. I also believe in promoting sportsmanship and team spirit. My hope is that every student, regardless of their athletic ability, achieves success in a variety of physical activities and sees improvement in their physical development.”
