Title: First Grade Teacher (position begins August, 2023)

St. Cyprian’s Episcopal School seeks an innovative teacher to inspire students to have an appreciation and understanding for elementary content. The candidate should have the ability to engage students in meaningful inquiry, critical thinking, problem solving and collaborative exploration.Teachers at St. Cyprian’s are expected to have a strong commitment to the students and the school community, working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting all aspects of school life. 

 

Qualities of the ideal candidate are:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Texas Teacher Certification with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned

  • Previous classroom or student teaching experience preferred

  • Ability to be innovative, collaborative and a positive member of the school community

  • Experience in differentiating instruction to accommodate different learning styles

  • Experience with technology as a tool for engaging students

  • Friendly, sociable and welcoming personality

Title: Middle School Math & Algebra I Instructor (position begins August, 2023)

St. Cyprian’s Episcopal School seeks innovative high school teachers to inspire students to have an appreciation and understanding for Math. The candidate should be comfortable teaching all levels of middle school in their content area. The candidate should have the ability to engage students in meaningful inquiry, critical thinking, problem solving and collaborative exploration. Title: Preschool Teacher (position begins August, 2023) 

St. Cyprian’s Episcopal School seeks an innovative teacher to deliver strong education and experiences for the development of skills for learning in the preschool classroom. Acting as part of a positive and cohesive team, the teacher will follow the Early Childhood Guidelines in designing learning opportunities. Faculty at St. Cyprian’s are expected to have a strong commitment to the students and the school community, working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting all aspects of school life. 

 

Qualities of the ideal candidate are:

  • Childhood  Development Associate credential or Bachelor’s in early childhood education or interdisciplinary studies

  • Ability to collaborate to deliver the strongest education and experience possible for the students in the classroom. 

  • Ability to maintain a meaningful and positive classroom environment

  • Ability to nurture and inspire curious, confident, joyful learners.

  • Previous classroom or student teaching experience

Title: Creative Care (position begins August 2023)

St. Cyprian’s Episcopal School seeks responsible and friendly staff for the after school program, Creative Care.  The candidates selected for this position will be responsible for supervising students,  planning, organizing and leading daily activities. Staff must provide the students with a leadership role, and be a positive role model to them. 

Qualities of the ideal candidate are:

  • Friendly, sociable and welcoming personality

  • Ability to follow oral and written directions and have the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff, students and parents.

  • Ability to maintain effective classroom management strategies

  • Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality of student and school personnel information

  • Candidate must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma

  • Previous experience preferred

Title: Substitute 

 

St. Cyprian’s Episcopal School seeks substitute teachers to perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent for a day or longer periods of time. Candidates need to be flexible in their availability.
