Title: High School Math/STEM Instructor (position begins August, 2021) 

 

St. Cyprian’s Episcopal School seeks innovative high school teachers to inspire students to have an appreciation and understanding for Math and Science. The candidate should be comfortable teaching all levels of high school in their content area. The candidate should have the ability to engage students in meaningful inquiry, critical thinking, problem solving and collaborative exploration. Teachers at St. Cyprian’s are expected to have a strong commitment to the students and the school community, working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting all aspects of school life.

Title: Librarian (position begins August, 2021) 

 

St. Cyprian’s Episcopal School seeks an innovative Librarian to inspire students to have an appreciation and understanding for literature. The candidate should have the ability to engage students in meaningful inquiry, critical thinking, problem solving and collaborative exploration. They have the primary responsibility for the functions of the school library (i.e., evaluation and selection; ordering and processing; utilization of media; and the instructional role, which includes both formal and information instruction in library media and technology information skills as well as assistance to students and staff in locating, evaluating and using library media materials and technologies). Teachers at St. Cyprian’s are expected to have a strong commitment to the students and the school community, working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting all aspects of school life. 

 

Qualities of the ideal candidate are:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university 

  • Texas Teacher Certification with required endorsements ( Librarian Certification or Master of Library Science)

  • Previous library experience preferred

  • Ability to be innovative, collaborative and a positive member of the school community

Title: Creative Care Workers (position begins August, 2021) 

St. Cyprian’s Episcopal School seeks responsible and friendly staff for the after school Creative Care program.  The candidates selected for this position will be responsible for supervising students,  planning, organizing and leading daily activities. Staff must provide the students with a leadership role, and be a positive role model to them. 

Qualities of the ideal candidate are:

  • Ability to follow oral and written directions and have the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff, students and parents.

  • Ability to maintain effective classroom management strategies

  • Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality of student and school personnel information

  • Candidate must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma

  • Previous experience preferred

Title: Substitute (position begins August 2021) 

 

St. Cyprian’s Episcopal School seeks substitute teachers to perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent for a day or longer periods of time. Candidates need to be flexible in their availability.
