Title: Elementary Teacher (position begins August, 2022)

 

St. Cyprian’s Episcopal School seeks an innovative teacher to inspire students to have an appreciation and understanding for elementary content. The candidate should have the ability to engage students in meaningful inquiry, critical thinking, problem solving and collaborative exploration.Teachers at St. Cyprian’s are expected to have a strong commitment to the students and the school community, working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting all aspects of school life. 

 

Qualities of the ideal candidate are:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Texas Teacher Certification with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned

  • Previous classroom or student teaching experience preferred

  • Ability to be innovative, collaborative and a positive member of the school community

  • Experience in differentiating instruction to accommodate different learning styles

  • Experience with technology as a tool for engaging students

Title: Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist (position begins August, 2022)

 

St. Cyprian’s Episcopal School seeks a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to assist in developing speech and language skills to facilitate the personal, social and intellectual development of students. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the Speech/Language Pathologist is expected to have a strong commitment to the students and the school community, working collaboratively with colleagues and supporting all aspects of school life. 

 

Qualities of the ideal candidate are:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • CCC Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist

  • Previous experience preferred

  • Ability to complete screening, evaluations

  • Ability to facilitate one-on-one speech therapy with students

  • Ability to assist teachers in the development and implementation of curriculum modifications and appropriate classroom strategies.

Title: Kindergarten Teacher (position begins August, 2022)

Title: Substitute (position begins August 2022) 

 

St. Cyprian’s Episcopal School seeks substitute teachers to perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent for a day or longer periods of time. Candidates need to be flexible in their availability.

  • Ability to follow oral and written directions and have the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff and students.

  • Ability to maintain effective classroom management strategies

  • Ability to maintain and respects confidentiality of student and school personnel information

  • Candidate must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma
